Our working method

The journey of a piece: from the initial consultation to the final delivery

Each commission at LHoracle Paris follows a defined process that combines traditional craftsmanship with clear planning. Here we detail the stages, the estimated timelines, and what you can expect at each point along the way.

Stage 01 Week 1–2

Consultation and assessment

We start with a personal interview, in person or by video call, to understand the context of use, aesthetic preferences, and practical limitations. We take measurements, record references, and define the scope of the work.

Stage 02 Week 3–4

Proposal and budget

We prepare a detailed proposal with the suggested materials, the type of construction, and the finishes. It includes a breakdown of costs by stage and an estimated schedule. We adjust the plan based on your feedback before starting.

Stage 03 Week 5–8

Design and pattern making

We develop the base pattern, do a first fitting in muslin, and adjust the fit on the body. This phase includes two fitting sessions to correct proportions before cutting the final fabric.

Stage 04 Week 9–12

Construction and finishing

We cut the fabric, sew the pieces, and work on the details: lining, buttons, visible seams, and finishes. Each step is reviewed against the original plan to maintain the coherence of the design.

Stage 05 Week 13

Final fitting

A final session to verify the fit, movement, and comfort. We make any minor adjustments that come up and leave the piece ready for use. This is the time to refine any pending details.

Stage 06 Week 14

Delivery and follow-up

We deliver the garment with care and maintenance instructions. Thirty days later, we do a quality check to verify that everything is still in order and answer any questions about use.

Practical considerations

Timelines and delays

Deadlines may be extended if fabrics need to be imported or if the design requires special embroidery techniques. We always notify you in advance when a material is not available on the local market.

Modifications

Design changes are welcome up to the pattern-making stage. After the final fabric is cut, modifications may involve additional costs or delays in delivery.

Details on the Scope of the Service

Before starting a collaboration, it is advisable to put in writing what we understand by each stage, what materials are delivered, and what the limits of our intervention are. These clarifications prevent misunderstandings and allow the work to proceed with clear rules from day one.

Definition of Image Consulting

We understand image consulting as a support process that covers color analysis, morphology, personal style, and wardrobe management. It does not include the purchase of garments by our team, nor the management of shopping budgets, nor physical accompaniment to stores outside the agreed schedule. The final result is a personalized style document and a practical application guide.

Styling Sessions and Look Creation

Styling sessions are held in person or virtually, as agreed at the time of booking. The work is limited to the garments and accessories that the client has available in her wardrobe or that she has previously purchased. We are not responsible for the availability of sizes or models in specific stores, as that depends on each fashion house.

Wardrobe Organization

The wardrobe organization service includes sorting garments, identifying key pieces, and suggesting combinations. It does not include cleaning, washing, ironing, or repairing garments. Nor does it include discarding garments without the client's explicit approval. The estimated time for this task is defined in the first interview and may vary depending on the volume of garments.

Scope of Recommendations

The recommendations we offer are based on aesthetic criteria, proportion, and coherence with each client's lifestyle. They do not constitute medical, dermatological, or health advice. If during the process we detect a need that exceeds our field, we will suggest consulting the appropriate professional. Our work is limited to the realm of personal image and fashion.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Conditions

Sessions may be rescheduled at no charge up to 48 hours before the agreed date. After that period, the session is considered completed and the amount paid is not refunded. If the professional must cancel due to force majeure, a new date will be offered at no additional cost. The digital materials delivered are for personal and non-transferable use.

Use of Materials and Confidentiality

All information shared during the sessions, including photographs, measurements, and personal preferences, is treated as confidential. Client images are not used in promotional materials without prior written consent. The style documents delivered are for the exclusive use of the client and may not be reproduced or distributed without authorization.
