Work Process
We work in clear stages, with defined deadlines and direct communication. This way, you know what to expect at each step and what we need from you to ensure the result arrives on time.
Week 1
We start with a meeting to understand the project, the context, and the expectations. We define the deliverables, timelines, and approval criteria. At the end of this stage, we sign a brief agreement detailing what was agreed upon.
Weeks 2 to 3
We gather references, review documentation, and prepare an initial proposal. We send you a document with options, rationale, and recommendations. At this stage, your feedback is key to adjusting the direction before moving forward.
Weeks 4 to 5
We work on the complete piece: writing, design, or assembly depending on the type of project. We deliver a full first version, not a partial draft. This allows you to evaluate the whole and make corrections on something concrete.
Week 6
We incorporate your feedback in one round of adjustments. Then we do an internal review for coherence and details. The final delivery includes the files in the agreed format and a brief note with recommendations for use or next steps.
After delivery
For fifteen days after delivery, we answer questions about the material and clarify any pending points. After that period, you can contact us for new projects or extensions of the original work.
Timelines are calculated based on business days and depend on the complexity of the project. If you need a tighter deadline, we assess it at the start and let you know if it's feasible.
Each stage requires your feedback within a maximum of five days. Without that response, the schedule shifts and the delivery date is adjusted accordingly.
All communication is done via email or phone. We don't use intermediaries or automated systems. If an issue arises, we notify you as soon as we detect it.
The work process
Every commission follows a defined path so you know what to expect at each stage. There are no hidden steps or last-minute surprises: the process is designed to make communication as careful as the final result.
We start with a conversation about what you need: the occasion, the style you're looking for, the materials you like, and the estimated budget. This is where the commission is defined and questions are clarified before moving forward.
With the information in hand, I prepare a concrete proposal: description of the work, suggested materials, estimated timelines, and final cost. We review each point together and adjust whatever is needed until everything is clear.
If it's a garment or an accessory, we schedule a measuring session or a meeting to see materials in person. For other commissions, we define the technical specifications and design details that make the difference.
During the making process, I keep you informed with photos and notes on the progress. If any questions or important decisions come up, I consult you before continuing. This way, the final result matches what you had in mind.
Before delivery, we do a complete review: finishing details, fit adjustments, or refinements. This is the time to polish whatever is needed so the piece is flawless and ready to use.
The delivery includes care and maintenance instructions. A few days later, I reach out to see how everything is going and if you need any minor adjustments. The relationship doesn't end with delivery: it remains open for future commissions.
